This kit replaces the now obsolete GD-ROM drive and software disc GDX-0012A for use with Chihiro type 3 mainboards.
Kit comprises of the following parts:
GDX-0024A Chihiro firmware update disc for CF unit.
MDA-G0013 Ghost Squad compact flash card.
Compact flash unit.
Mounting screws.
Installation guide.
Firmware version stickers.
Fitting is as follows:
Use firmware update disc in existing GD-ROM drive to update Chihiro firmware, remove GD-ROM drive from mounting plate, fit CF unit to GD-ROM mounting plate, fit card, connect cables.
This kit uses your existing Ghost Squad DES security key [253-5508-0398] if you do not have a key one can be purchased at extra cost.
If you have surplus GD-Rom discs or drives from your upgrades we can offer good rates for them in exchange.
